I must say, I’m a bit concerned about receiving a bad review. I started a new job a few months ago, and while things are going well, I do have problems getting here on time each morning. I’ve never really been surprised by anything my manager has said in a review (if you are surprised, then there has been a huge lack of communication between you and your boss!)
But this time around I am concerned that my boss will speak to my work hours, particularly what time I get here each morning. Don’t get me wrong, I’m typically here by 9am or so, but there are days where I’m pushing it. The clock strikes 9:05 and I’m just strolling in. I prefer to be here earlier, as it helps me ease into the work day. But alas, with 3 kids to get up & out the door each morning (4 if I include myself), I think a little slack cutting is in order.
